Rabat is also called the White City due to its quiet environment.

Morocco officially adopted the national flag on the seventeenth of November 1915, as before that it was a red flag only without any other signs, and the Moroccan flag was designed by Sultan Yusuf, who ruled the country between 1912-1927, where the flag consists of a red rectangle in the middle Five-pointed star in green, as the red color symbolizes courage and strength, while the green color refers to the Islamic religion and symbolizes love, joy, hope, peace and wisdom, and the five-pointed star represents the five pillars of Islam.

The Moroccan people consist of several different ethnic groups, the most important of which are Arabs and Berbers ( Imazighen ), who are the original inhabitants, and minorities of Europeans known as white Moroccans, Moroccans of European origins such as the Spaniards and the French, in addition to a group of Jews.
